  • For 12 muffins:
  • 300 g of flour
  • 250 g powdered brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 8 g of yeast
  • 15 cl of milk
  • 15 cl of peanut oil
  • 150 g of dates
  • 100 g of nuts
  • 1 C. cinnamon powder
  • 2 pinches of cardamom powder


Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (item 6). Pit the dates. Chop them with the nuts. In a bowl, beat the sugar with the eggs and add the flour, yeast, milk and oil. Mix well to obtain a smooth paste then add the chopped fruits and spices. Pour into muffin pans, up to 1 cm from the edge. Bake 25 min. Serve cold, plain or with jam.
